BIOGRAPHY
Intro
Wing Yee, better known simply as Wing, is a singer/songwriter and guitarist based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Wing was born in Quangzhou, China, grew up in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada with his parents at a young age in search of a better life. And he can speak and sing fluently in English, French and Chinese.
Influences
Wing came from a non musical family and is a self taught vocalist/musician. He was intrigued by the Beatles and moved by Carlos Santana. Wing grew up listening to some of the most influential pop vocal groups from the 70’s to the present day such as the Bee Gees, Carpenters, Air Supply and Backstreet Boys. Wing is a baritone tenor and has a vocal range similar to the Beatles, Chris de Burgh, Gilbert O’Sullivan, Paul Simon, Billy Joel, James Blunt and Michael Bublé.
Experience
Wing has a 25 year career span performing as a solo artist in the bar/restaurant and hotel lounge/ski resort circuit throughout the province of Quebec. He also performed in Las Vegas at what were then the Mint and the Dunes hotels. And the most requested song from his repertoire is “The Lady in Red" by Chris de Burgh.

Wing has currently written and recorded 19 original songs and they're in the style of Pop/Adult Contemporary/Light Rock.
Ambition
Wing wants to define that music is a true universal language regardless of an artist’s nationality. He’s determined to proof to the world that there are Chinese artists out there who can indeed sing and write songs in English for all to enjoy!
