Introduction
LAI CHI KOK (Deric Wan) has been labeled as the most corrupt official of his country. He is so crafty and scheming that even his father cannot condone his actions.
KOK's fiance CHUNG WAN (Tavia Yeung) is a manipulative woman and is very good at keeping KOK under her thumb. KOK seems to become tried of this way of life. One day, PO LAM (Mandy Chiang) who was a little girl that KOK had saved 8 years ago before he became an official, came looking for him. PO LAM had made a promise to herself that she would become KOK's wife the day that KOK saved her. PO LAM's arrival had brought on CHUNG WAN's jealousy and many misunderstandings starts. KOK only has eyes for CHUNG WAN and tries in many ways to get rid of PO LAM. He has got fed up with WAN's tyranny but his soul mate and personal assistant LOK FU (Eddie Kwan) has great admiration for her. Meanwhile, a young gentleman PO KWONG (Sammul Chan) has been courting LAM.
KOK has disguised himself as a vigilante to help the needy. His heroic deeds have earned him a lot of praise. On one hand KOK feels a glow of satisfaction at having achieved fame and recognition, but on the other hand he is worried that his secret identity as a vigilante will sooner or later be uncovered. Finally, the truth is brought to light...
