We rejoin the story with Wong Yung and Kwok Jing, fooling around in town. It is lantern night in China. Wong Yung wants Kwok Jing to buy a lantern so they can walk on the street together at night and see all the fascinating things on the night. However Kwok Jing only has $20 dollars left and does not want to waste it. Upon hearing this Wong Yung thinks of a plan to deceive people for money and tells Kwok Jing that she's going to the bank. However Kwok Jing does not believe her and does not want her to use these dirty tactics and follows her through town. Wong Yung becomes upset realizing that she cannot get any money to buy a lantern.

Kwok Jing asks Wong Yung where the bank is. Wong Yung stops and mutters that she isn't going to the bank anymore. In reply Kwok Jing tells Wong Yung not to use her dirty tactics to cheat people of money. An old beggar is sleeping beneath them and is woken by the conversation. The beggar asks Kwok Jing and Wong Yung, to move away and not disturb him whilst he is sleeping. Wong Yung becomes angry and tells the beggar that the town square is no place to sleep. She also tells the old beggar that she isn't going to move. The old beggar laughs ignoring her and moves across the other side of the street and continues sleeping. Wong Yung follows the beggar across the street and deliberately screams into his ears and wakes the old beggar up. Kwok Jing is unimpressed and pulls Wong Yung away from the old beggar so he could sleep.

Kwok Jing decides to go to the mill named after the famous Southern Sung General Ngowk Fei, to see the festivities. Wong Yung sees a beautiful lantern and asks Kwok Jing to buy it for her. However the merchant tells them that the lantern is selling for $20. Kwok Jing says he only has half the money and the merchant tells him that he is not selling the lantern at that price. Wong Yung gets angry and attempts to smash the lantern but Kwok Jing prevents her form doing so. Suddenly a drunken old man enters the mill and smashes the lantern. He screams and cruses at the people in the mill. Calling them cowards who forget the sacrifice of heroes such as general Ngwok Fei. He also warns the people that if they don't fight for their country, soon Southern Sung will be conquered by the Northern Gum Dynasty. The merchants want to kick the old man out of the mill. However is not leaving because he is a relative of general Ngowk Fei. Kwok Jing and Wong Yung helps the old man out of the mill.

Back at the old man's house Kwok Jing was listening to him recite a poem. Kwok Jing is interested in the legend of general Ngowk Fei and asks the old man to tell him the story. However Wong Yung is bored and wants no part of if, instead she wants to wonder through town. She grabs Kwok Jing and attempts to leave. At this moment the old beggar arrives at the house. He sees Wong Yung and asks for his clothes back, because earlier Wong Yung had stolen his clothes. Kwok Jing hears of this and decides to get the old beggar some new clothes.

Seeing that the old beggar is going to keep the old man company Kwok Jing decides go into town with Wong Yung to see the lanterns. Outside an old merchant offers to give Wong Yung a free lantern, but Kwok Jing refuse to accept it. Unknown to them this old merchant is a spy for the Ol Yeung Hak, who is attempting to locate the of the relative of general Ngwok Fei. The merchant puts a big lantern on the door and heads off to report back to Ol Yeung Hak. After leaving the restaurant, the old merchant is stabbed by a couple of beggars, and dies. Kwok Jing and Wong Yung watched it happen and decides to give chase.

They follow the beggars back to their hideout. On the rooftop they overhear that the beggars are going to have to kill people to accomplish the task that was set by their leader. Two beggars are sent over to the relative of Ngowk Fei's house. Kwok Jing and Wong Yung decide to intercept the two beggars and in the process injures them. Kwok Jing and Wong Yung then rush back to the house to warn the old man. At once the old man knows the reason why he is being followed. Everyone is after the war book written by general Ngowk Fei, which is in his possession. Suddenly the door is forced open and Ol Yeung Hak, and his men rush in. Kwok Jing and Wong Yung battles with them, whilst the old beggar helps the old man his room. The old man goes to fetch the war book, but is bitten by a snake and dies.

Kwok Jing and Wong Yung, hold off Ol Yeung Hak's men so the old man and the old beggar can run away first. Realizing that they are outnumbered, Wong Yung and Kwok Jing decide to make a run for it. Along the way they fall into a pit, which was set by the beggars, who then fight with Ol Yeung Hak's men. In the morning Kwok Jing and Wong Yung, decide to search for the old man and the old beggar. By the time they find him the old beggar is sitting by a grave. It was the grave of the old man. However before he died, the old man handed the war book called, Mo Mok Wai Si, to the old beggar. He is charged with giving the war book to the Southern Song King. The beggar asks Kwok Jing to be his bodyguard for $10 dollars. Kwok Jing accepts the beggars offer but does it for free. At this time Wong Yung becomes all upset again and gives Kwok Jing two options, either to follow her or the old beggar. Kwok Jing decides that helping the Han people by giving the war book to the Song King is more important and decides to follow the old beggar.

Wong Yung was unhappy with Kwok Jing's decision, but decides to follow them closely behind. The beggar finds an old mill and decides to rest there. Unaccustomed to sleeping outdoors both Wong Yung and Kwok Jing sneezes all night keeping the old beggar from resting. The old beggar also makes life harder for Kwok Jing, by deciding to wander the streets at midnight to look for food. Wong Yung however had thought up a clever plan to get rid of the beggar and decides to go with him to look for food instead. After wandering all night around town and not finding any place that is open, they come across a prostitute parlor. Wong Yung convinces the old beggar to go in. She trades her jade hair clip to buy a meal for the old beggar. However once the old beggar is settle and eating his meal, Wong Yung knocks the manager over and makes a run for it.

Meanwhile Yeung Hong arrives at Southern Song also. His purpose for coming is to find, the war book (Mo Mok Wai Si) for his foster farther Yee Lan Hung Lit. He heard from Ol Yeung Hak that Kwok Jing and Wong Yung are there also, therefore he decides to send men to look for Kwok Jing, Wong Yung, and the old beggar. In the morning Wong Yung is happy to have gotten rid of the old beggar. Kwok Jing though is very unhappy and decides to wander around town to find him. While they where eating, one of Yeung Hong's men spots them. Eventually Kwok Jing and Wong Yung, finds the beggar at an old house.

The manager of the brothel is also waiting at the old house. She is ready to take Wong Yung in as a new working girl (prostitute). The old beggar had claimed to be Wong Yung's farther, and sold her to the manager. Whilst Kwok Jing and Wong Yung try to sort out the misunderstanding, the old beggar sneaks out of the house to rest. However Yeung Hong's men were waiting at the door and asked the old beggar to hand over the war book. He refuses, and they attempt to shoot him with arrows. The old beggar then uses his, 18 Dragon Palm, to defeat them and send them running.

Kwok Jing and Wong Yung, had heard the sound of the, 18 Dragon Palm, and came to see what had happened. They found the old beggar sleeping, and he claimed to know nothing. Kwok Jing asked him for the war book, but the old beggar said he left it at the brothel. Wong Yung, knew this was a trick but also wanted to get rid of the old beggar without letting Kwok Jing know, so she sent Kwok Jing to look for the war book at the Brothel. While the beggar was sleeping, Wong Yung, used a rope and tied up the old beggar. She dragged him to the ocean, and tied the old beggar to a post. She asks the beggar to hand over the war book before dawn, otherwise the water level would rise above the beggars head. Wong Yung goes back to the old house to rest.

Luckily for the old beggar, Kwok Jing, passes by the ocean on the way back from the brothel. The old beggar yells for help, and Kwok Jing, immediately unties the old beggar. After being set free by Kwok Jing the beggar decides, to push Kwok Jing's pressure point and ties him to a tree. He goes back to the house and finds Wong Yung asleep, and wakes her up. He runs away and Wong Yung gives chase. She battles with the old beggar, but is no match for him. The old beggar’s kung fu is too good even if he doesn't fight back. The old beggar stops, and tells Wong Yung to find Kwok Jing, who is rapidly running out of breath, because his pressure point has been pushed. Wong Yung runs to free Kwok Jing. The beggar laughs says, that know one will beat him in a mind contest. Wong Yung also says the same after freeing Kwok Jing. They both decide to track down the old beggar, because Kwok Jing wants the war book, so he can give it to the Song Emperor.

They track the old beggar down at the beggar's hideout. Wong Yung, uses a cook chicken, to draw the old beggar out. When the old beggar smells the cook chicken, he drops his business with the other beggars and runs out to get it. The old beggar is smarter than Wong Yung had thought, and he sense that it was a trap. However he was hungry and still wanted to eat the chicken. As he was stretching for it with a branch, Wong Yung pushes him from behind, and the old beggar falls down the sandpit. The chicken was tied to a string, which Wong Yung used to pull the chicken from the old beggar's grasp. At once Kwok Jing asked the old beggar for the war book. Trapped down the pit the old beggar decides to yell for help.

At this point Leung Chi Yung was passing by. He hears Kwok Jing's voice and is very please. He has always wanted to drink Kwok Jing's blood to improve his inner power, after Kwok Jing had killed his snake earlier. Leung Chi Yung wanders over and fights with Kwok Jing and Wong Yung. He pushes Wong Yung's pressure point, and Kwok Jing's as well. As he was beginning to try and drain Kwok Jing's blood, the old beggar flies up from the pit, and begins eating the chicken he picked up from the floor. Wong Yung crawls over and begs the old beggar to help Kwok Jing. At once the beggar wanders over and uses his 18 Dragon Palm to defeat Leung Chi Yung. However the beggar is kind and only injures Leung Chi Yung instead of taking his life. Leung Chi Yung, recognized that the old beggar is one of the five top kung fu expert, Buk Coy Hung Chut Kong or "The Northern Beggar". Hung Chut Kong tells Leung Chi Yung to get out of his sight, and begins eating the chicken again.

After discovering that the old beggar is Hung Chut Kong, Wong Yung, decides to cook a meal to thank him for saving their lives. On the other hand she wanted Hung Chut Kong to teach Kwok Jing kung fu. Her plan worked when she left the food with Kwok Jing and instructed him not to give any to Hung Chut Kong. A generous man, Kwok Jing, decided to sneak out with the food and gave it to the old beggar. The old beggar ate hurriedly but a branch from the tree kept getting in his way. He then decided to teach Kwok Jing a few moves so he could destroy the branch. Wong Yung then promised to keep cooking good meals as long as Hung Chut Kong kept teaching Kwok Jing kung fu. Hung Chut Kong then realized he had been tricked, and was less then pleased with what Wong Yung made for breakfast. Wong Yung then decided to steal food from the palace for Hung Chut Kong in the evening.

Meanwhile Leung Chi Yung returns to aid Yeung Hong, who noticed he was injured. Yeung Hong then informed Leung Chi Yung and Ol Yeung Hak to capture the fourth Mongolian Prince Toa. Wah Jang had followed her brother Tao to China to locate General Ngowk Fei's war book. Toa was discussing plans with his Mongolian warriors when, Ol Yeung Hak and his men arrived. They battle and Toa managed to escape. Tao went into the palace and found the war bookcase but was discovered. The royal guards gave chase and discovered Wong Yung hiding behind the wall. Toa then opened a secret passage, for both of them to escape. Unfortunately Ol Yeung Hak and his men had been waiting outside the secret passage to capture Toa. Out numbered both Wong Yung and Toa where captured.

Yeung Hong was very happy with catching Toa, and upon request by Ol Yeung Hak, decided to hand Wong Yung over to him. But before Ol Yeung Hak could do anything with Wong Yung, Mu Chiu Fung, had killed one of his girls. Mu Chiu Fung was learning the final part of Gau Yum Bak Kut Chow, and was less then pleased with Ol Yeung Hak who had failed to provide her with people to practice on. Mu Chiu Fung then requested Yeung Hong to release Wong Yung and send her to a safe place. Yeung Hong obliged much to Ol Yeung Hak's dissatisfaction. Upon completing the final part of Gau Yum Bak Kut Chow, Mu Chiu Fung felt confident with defeating Hung Chut Kong. Yeung Hong and Ol Yeung Hak then planned to deal with Hung Chut Kong.

Meanwhile Kwok Jing and Hung Chut Kong were searching for Wong Yung, when they were captured by Mongolians. Wah Jang had sent the men to locate Toa, and she was very happy to see Kwok Jing. Hung Chut Kong then realized that both Toa and Wong Yung must have been captured by Yeung Hong's men. Hung Chut Kong immediately thought of a plan to rescue both of them, but seemed calm and relaxed on the outside. Ol Yeung Hak the secretly met with Wah Jang, demanding that she poison Hung Chut Kong in return for the life of Toa. The Mongolian warriors did not trust Hung Chut Kong's abilities, and decided to go ahead with poisoning him. That evening Hung Chut Kong was informed by his men that Yeung Hong had sent away two large chests through the back way. Hung Chut Kong then told Kwok Jing to take the Mongolian warriors to check out the chests and he himself would go and deal with Yeung Hong and his men.

Hung Chut Kong felt slightly lightheaded as he approached the palace. Inside Mu Chiu Fung and Gum soldiers where awaiting his arrival. Upon entering Mu Chiu Fung, battled with Hung Chut Kung but was easily defeated. The soldiers then fired arrows at Hung Chut Kung who managed to evade them all. Mu Chiu Fung rushed at him again and managed to strike a blow to his chest, but Hung Chut Kong fought on despite being injured. Meanwhile the Mongolian warriors and Kwok Jing were able to save Wong Yung and Toa. After discovering that Wah Jang had poisoned Hung Chut Kung, Kwok Jing and Wong Yung decided to head to the palace to save him. When they arrived Mu Chiu Fung was slowly getting on top of Hung Chut Kong as the poison flows through his body. Kwok Jing immediately fought with Kwok Jing and easily won. The group managed to retreat to Mu Chiu Fung's cement cellar, while the Mongolian warriors managed to fight through and escape.

Mu Chiu Fung instructed Yeung Hong's men to wait outside her cellar until Hung Chut Kong dies of the poison. Ol Yeung Hak was eager to kill Kwok Jing and Hung Chut Kong, that he talked Yeung Hong into goining away and taking a rest. While Yeung Hong was away Ol Yeung Hak used his snake to poison Mu Chiu Fung. During the fight Mu Chiu Fung lost her Gau Yum Bak Kut Chow which fell to the floor. Inside the cellar Hung Chut Kung continued to teach Kwok Jing, the 18 Dragon Palms to deal with Ol Yeung Hak and Mu Chiu Fung. Once he mastered the 18 Dragon Palms, they rushed out of the cellar in an attempt to escape. Yeung Hong returned and battled with Kwok Jing once more. However this time he was easily defeated by Kwok Jing. Suddenly the Mongolian warriors returned with more soldiers and wiped out most of Yeung Hong's men.

Yeung Hong then attacked Kwok Jing from behind, but was saved by Wah Jang. Kwok Jing then picks up Mu Chiu Fung's Gau Yum Jun King by mistake. Yeung Hong then fled with Ol Yeung Hak. They ran into Mu Chiu Fung at an old mill, who then battled with and defeated Ol Yeung Hak. Mu Chiu Fung was badly injured though and Yeung Hong decided to carry his master on his back and took her to a cave to rest. Ol Yeung Hak had followed them closely behind. When Yeung Hong left to find some food, Ol Yeung Hak, attempted to deal with Mu Chiu Fung. A masked man arrived and saved Mu Chiu Fung. Upon returning to the cave, Yeung Hong, was chased by Mongolian soldiers and ran for his life.

Meanwhile Kwok Jing begged Wong Yung to save the life of Wah Jang, who was poisoned by Yeung Hong's Gau Yum Bak Kut Chow. Wong Yung refused at first, but upon seeing that Kwok Jing had not rested for days, decided to help. After saving the life of Wah Jang, Wong Yung wanted to leave but Kwok Jing wanted to remain behind until Wah Jang was well. This did not please Wong Yung who went to see Hung Chut Kong, when Wah Jang approached to chat with Kwok Jing. Hung Chut Kong's room was a mess and Wong Yung rushed out to see what had happened. Kwok Jing followed closely behind when he noticed Wong Yung running off.

Hung Chut Kong was getting ready to duel with a masked man as Mu Chiu Fung watched on. They battle and show superb fighting skills. After a few moves Hung Chut Kong uses his 18 Dragon Palms, but the masked man managed to evade it. The masked man laughed having fought an even battle once more with Hung Chut Kong. He took of his masked and it was revealed that he was "Weird East", Dong Che Wong Yek Si. In a kind gesture Wong Yek Si gave Hung Chut Kong some medicine to speed his recovery from injury. Hung Chut Kong made a motion to hand the medicine back to Wong Yek Si when Wong Yung and Kwok Jing emerged from behind the bushes. Upon seeing his daughter Wong Yek Si demanded that Wong Yung return to his side immediately. She refused and Kwok Jing remarked to Wong Yung that the old man doesn't look good-natured. Wong Yek Si takes a look at the young man and is not impressed. Wong Yek Si becomes angry when he discovers Wong Yung is in love with Kwok Jing and that Kwok Jing killed his student Chun Yin Fung.

Wong Yek Si decides to give Kwok Jing an opportunity to prove that he is worthy of marrying his daughter by testing his kung fu. Kwok Jing charges at Wong Yek Si who defeats him in one move. This did not please Wong Yek Si, who became outraged when Wah Jang came and hugged Kwok Jing. Wong Yek Si then wanted to kill Kwok Jing, but Wong Yung stated that she would commit suicide if Kwok Jing was killed. That evening Hung Chut Kong told Kwok Ching that he must decide which girl he wants to be with. Kwok Jing thought about it and decided that he wanted to be with Wong Yung. He then told Wah Jang that he treated her as a sister only and did not love her. Upon hearing this Wah Jang approached Wong Yung, and attempted to commit suicide. Upon seeing that Wah Jang truly loved Kwok Jing, Wong Yung decided to leave with her farther.

Wong Yung would jump out of the boat in the evening and swim back to the mainland. Since the departure of Wong Yung, Kwok Jing, has been passing time by drinking. One time he got really drunk that he mistaken Wah Jang to be Wong Yung, and told her how he misses Wong Yung. Outside Wong Yung overheard the conversation. When Kwok Jing woke, she ran off. Kwok Jing pursued her down the beach. Wah Jang and Toa decided to let Kwok Jing go upon seeing that he really loves Wong Yung.

Meanwhile Yeung Hong was captured, tortured and poisoned by the Mongolians. He managed escape and by some twist of fate arrived at Mok Dim Chi's house after stealing some food. Mok Dim Chi paid the villagers some money so they would leave Yeung Hong alone. Kwok Jing arrived in the evening. Yeung Hong approached Kwok Jing, giving himself in and asked Kwok Jing to take his revenge. Instead of killing him, upon Mok Dim Chi's request, Kwok Jing decided to find Toa to get the cure for Yeung Hong. Upon arriving back Kwok Jing was seized by Toa and thrown into the dungeons. A few days later Yeung Hong had lost all hope and stated that he regretted all that he had done. He wished he was a normal person again. Upon hearing this Mok Dim Chi wanted to find ways of curing Yeung Hong. She heard from a doctor that the only way to save Yeung Hong was to conduct a blood transfusion. By doing this it meant that she would die instead. One night Yeung Hong became really ill, and Mok Dim Chi decided to sacrifice her life and did a blood transfusion to save Yeung Hong. That same night Wah Jang released Kwok Jing and gave him the cure.

Upon waking, Yeung Hong, realized that Mok Dim Chi had performed an blood transfusion and attempted to search for her. At this moment Kwok Jing arrived with the cure, but Yeung Hong was shattered, because Mok Dim Chi had sacrificed her life. Kwok Jing immediately rushed out to look for her. He arrived just in time to prevent Mo Dim Chi from hanging herself and gave her the cure. Instead of going back with Kwok Jing to look for Yeung Hong, she stayed behind. Kwok Jing was instructed to tell Yeung Hong that if he wanted to be with her, he must give up his title as Prince and live like a normal person. Yeung Hong thought about it for a long time as he went out to search for Mok Dim Chi. Along the way he runs into Sai Dong Tin, who was sent by Yee Lan Hung Lit, to look for him. Yeung Hong took a few steps in the direction towards Mo Dim Chi, before quickly turning around and returned by Yee Lan Hung Lit's side.

Meanwhile Kwok Jing met up with Wong Yung, who was chased by Ol Yeung Hak and Leung Chi Yung. They managed to out run them and hid in the bush. Ol Yeung Hak and Leung Chi Yung then discovered two people hiding in the bush, Lok Kwun Ying and Ching Yiu Kap. Having lost Kwok Jing's trail the Ol Yeung Hak decided to leave. Kwok Jing and Wong Yung then hid in Lok Kwun Ying's boat until they where discovered. Lok Kwun Ying was a generous man however and they decided to become friends. The next day Lok Kwun Ying was involved in a contest with another kung fu family who turns out to be Ching Yiu Kap's family. Both families won an even number of contest and it was left up to Lok Kwun Ying and Ching Yiu Kap to see who the winner is. Both loved each other and refused to fight, until they where pressured by their masters. Lok Kwun Ying won after a number of moves, but Ching Yiu Kap cut a piece of his clothing apart. Ching Yiu Kap's belonging fell from Lok Kwun Ying's belt. Sin But Yee, a Chin Sun Gow, priestess and Ching Yiu Kap's master was not impressed. The two families are bitter rivals, and Lok Kwun Ying, decided to inform them that he had stolen Ching Yiu Kap's belongings.

Kwok Jing and Wong Yung where invited as guests by Lok Kwun Ying, back to Gwai Wun Jong. Wong Yung became very curious about Gwai Wun Jong because it reminded her of Tao Fai Do, the placed she grew up in. Upon returning Lok Kwun Yip was heavily punished by his farther Lok Sing Fung. Wong Yung wanted to see who the old man was and decided to find out by charging through the flower garden. She managed to get through because the flower garden at Gwai Wun Jong was exactly the same as the one at Tao Fai Do. Lok Sing Fung was very impressed with Wong Yung and Kwok Jing that they became good friends. Wong Yung was still curious about Gwai Wun Jong that she and Kwok Jing went to investigate in the evening. Lok Kwun Ying had rounded up some men, and captured Yeung Hong and Yin Tin Tak. At once Kwok Jing wanted to save Yeung Hong but he was restrained by Wong Yung. The next day Yeung Hong managed to escape by himself, but was defeated by Lok Sing Fung and thrown back into the dungeon.

Wong Yung then realized that Lok Sing Fung could be one of her farther's students. Later that evening Mok Dim Chi attempted to rescue Yeung Hong. Wong Yung and Kwok Jing helped Mok Dim Chi get through the flower garden. Yeung Hong then instructed Mok Dim Chi to find his master Mu Chiu Fung to rescue him. Along the way Mok Dim chi ran into Ol Yeung Hak, who wanted to rape her but she was saved by Mu Chiu Fung. Upon hearing that Lok Sing Fung had captured Yeung Hong, Mu Chiu Fung proceeded to send a skull to Gwai Wun Jong. Upon seeing the skull Lok Sing Fung thought that Hak Fung Seng Sat, had come back to get revenge on him. He immediately ordered Lok Kwun Ying, to send take everyone away from Gwai Wun Jong. Kwok Jing and Wong Yung was asked to leave also. As they where leaving, an old man, was flying across the water kicking a jar. His kung fu seemed really high. The old man introduced himself as Kau Chin Yan, famous for his ability to walk on water and his "Fists of Iron".

Kau Chin Yan offered to remain behind to help Lok Sing Fung deal with Mu Chiu Fung. Shortly Kong Lam Chut Kwai, would arrive at Gwai Wun Jong also. Kwok Jing was very happy to see his six master's once again. Ngor Jun Ngwok decided to remain behind to help Lok Sing Fung deal with Mu Chiu Fung as well. In the evening Kau Chin Yan asked Lok Sing Fung to release Yeung Hong. Lok Sing Fung refused and Kau Chin Yan battled with Kwok Jing. At this point Mu Chiu Fung enters the room and request that Yeung Hong be released. Kau Chin Yan then interrupted by stating that Wong Yek Si, Mu Chiu Fung and Lok Sing Fung's master had been killed by Hung Chut Kong. At first Wong Yung was fooled but then realized that Kau Chin Yan was lying. Kau Chin Yan then fled from Gwai Wun Jong. Lok Sing Fung then discovered that Mu Chiu Fung's husband Chun Yin Fung had already been killed by Kwok Jing many years ago. In the past when Mu Chiu Fung and Chun Yin Fung stole Gau Yum Jun King from their master Wong Yek Si, causing Wong Yek Si to break all of his students legs and kicking them out of his school. But despite having his legs broken because of that event Lok Sing Fung agreed to let Yeung Hong go.

Kwok Jing discovered that Yin Tin Tak was amongst those captured and decided to take revenge on him. They set up Yeung Tit Sum and Kwok Siu Tin's altars outside Gwai Wun Jong. Yeung Hong was then informed that Yin Tin Tak was sent by Yee Lan Hung Lit to kill their parents. Upon hearing this Yeung Hong used his Gau Yum Bak Kut Chow to kill Yin Tin Tak. He then became sworn brothers with Kwok Jing. Yeung Hong had no intentions of helping Kwok Jing get revenge for their parents by killing Yee Lan Hung Lit. Yeung Hong later tricked Kwok Jing that he was going to search for Mok Dim Chi, but instead returned by Yee Lan Hung Lit's side.

Kwok Jing and Wong Yung then decided to come up with a plan that would enable Lok Kwun Ying and Ching Yiu Kap to be together. Their plan was foiled by Sin But Yee and Yau Cheut Ky who uncovered Wong Yung's trick. They rushed back to prevent Lok Kwun Ying from marrying Ching Yiu Kap. As soon as they enter Sin But Yee and Yul Cheut Ky begins a fight with Lok Kwun Ying. Wong Yung and Kwok Jing also join in. During the battle, Chin Yiu Kap, runs out and falls over the edge of the cliff despite, Lok Kwun Ying and Yul Chuet Ky's attempts to save her.

Ching Yiu Kap would be saved by Wong Yek Si, who became outraged when he heard that someone wanted to prevent their marriage. He took Ching Yiu Kap back to the Lok family to force Lok Kwun Ying's farther agree to the marriage. Wong Yung and Kwok Jing were just leaving when they spotted Wong Yek Si arriving. Wong Yung decided to run back into the house to hide from her farther. Lok Sing Fung then realized that his master had come to see him and ordered his servants to take presents for his master into the living room. Lok Kwun Ying was sent to great Wong Yek Si. Lok Kwun Ying was then filled with joy upon seeing that Ching Yiu Kap was still alive. At once Wong Yek Si was impressed by the young man and ventured inside to see who was preventing them marrying each other.

Wong Yek Si rushed inside screaming and shouting, but was stunned to see everyone kneeling in the living room. Lok Sing Fung then welcomed his master and invited him to take a seat. Wong Yek Si was very annoyed and asked the old man to reveal himself. The old man revealed that he was a former student, Lok Sing Fung. At once Wong Yek Si went to aid Lok Sing Fung up and told him not to greet him in such a manner. Lok Sing Fung then kneeled back down to request that he be accepted as a student of To Fai Do once more. Wong Yek Si became quite annoyed because he was wrong to kick them out in the first place and replied that he won't accept Lok Sing Fung as a student anymore because never kicked him out of the kung fu school. He then instructed Lok Sing Fung to allow his son to marry Ching Yiu Kap. Lok Sing Fung was in the process of deciding which day to hold the marriage when Wong Yek Si, decided that they would marry later that day.

Lok Sing Fung was so happy that he revealed to Wong Yek Si, that Wong Yung, was hiding inside the house. Wong Yek Si immediately went to look for her and found that Kwok Jing was with her. Wong Yung then persuaded Kwok Jing to approach Wong Yek Si to ask for her hand in marriage. Kwok Jing was dumb and didn't know how to talk to Wong Yek Si so he refused. Wong Yung then stated that they would marry each other no matter what. Wong Yek Si replied that if she did they would end their farther-daughter relationship. Upon hearing this Kwok Jing told Wong Yung to go with her farther because he did not want them to break up their farther-daughter relationship. Wong Yung thus left with Wong Yek Si.

After many days spent drinking, Kwok Jing, finally got the courage to go to To Fai Do to find Wong Yung. Upon arriving he was trapped by Wong Yek Si's mystic To Fai garden. Wong Yek Si would set Kwok Jing free seeing that his daughter really loves him. Kwok Jing would rush out of the garden and come across a cave. Someone was calling for help inside so he decided to see what was goining on. Inside an old man dressed as a bear was calling for help and then disappeared. Moments later another old man came across with a knife looking to kill the bear and ask Kwok Jing where the bear was hiding. Being dumb Kwok Jing revealed where the bear had gone. Moments later Kwok Jing heard a scream and saw the bear lying down. He decided to stay with the bear, refusing to leave. The old man then gave up and revealed himself as Chow Pak Tung. He had played a game on Kwok Jing, and decided to become sworn brothers with him also.

Chow Pak Tung was so happy that he decided to challenge Wong Yek Si to a fight in an attempt to get back Gau Yum Jun King from him. Chow Pak Tung had been on the island for 15 years in an attempt to get back Gau Yum Jun King from Wong Yek Si. He lost on this occasion and returned to the cave very upset. Chow Pak Tung then directed a way for Kwok Jing to see Wong Yung. Meanwhile Wong Yek Si, had had enough of Chow Pak Tung and attempted to drive him out of To Fai Do. He used his Ming Sum Yut Cok to drive Chow Pak Tung out of the cave. A snake then bit Chow Pak Tung on the hand. During this time Wong Yung persuaded Kwok Jing to lend her a hand so she could open a closet to go and see her mother. Wong Yek Si came back and was unhappy to see them inside his secret room. He attempted to kill Kwok Jing but Wong Yung got in the way.

Kwok Jing returned and found Chow Pak Tung on the ground suffering from snake poison. He then used his inner power to force the poison out of Chow Pak Tung's body. He used the cloth he had picked up, from Mu Chiu Fung to cover Chow Pak Tung’s wound. Upon waking up Chow Pak Tung's came to life with excitement as he looked at the cloth. It was what he had wanted to recover for 15 years, Gau Yum Jun King. At once he forced Kwok Jing into learning all of the words written on the cloth and tricked him in practicing the kung fu in the manual. Chow Pak Tung would also teach Kwok Jing his own style of "self-fighting kung fu".

Trouble loomed as Sai Duk (Poison West), Ol Yeung Fung and his son Ol Yeung Hak arrived to greet Wong Yek Si at To Fai Do. Soon Hung Chut Kong arrived also, and after testing his kung fu, Wong Yek Si invited both men inside. Ol Yeung Fung that revealed his reason for coming to To Fai Do. He arrived to make a marriage proposal between his son Ol Yeung Hak and Wong Yung. After taking a few moments to think, Wong Yek Si, agreed to the marriage. He would later change his mind when he discovered that Wong Yung would rather die than marry Ol Yeung Hak. After consulting with his dead wife, Wong Yek Si decided to have a contest to see who would marry his daughter. Both Kwok Jing and Ol Yeung Hak where tested on kung fu, inner power, and memory.

In the first contest Kwok Jing was required to duel with Ol Yeung Fung and Ol Yeung Hak was required to duel with Hung Chut Kong. The winner would be determined by the person who lasts the longest on top the kung fu arena before being kicked off. Ol Yeung Hak managed to win the first contest because Chow Pak Tung intervened by knocking Ol Yeung Fung off balance with a rock. The second contest required both men to use their inner power to deflect Wong Yek Si's Ming Sum Yat Cok. Kwok Jing won this round because he was not affected in the same way by Wong Yek Si's music and outlasted Ol Yeung Hak. The third contest involved remembering words from a book which happened to be Gau Yum Jun King. Kwok Jing won this round because he already knew Gau Yum Jun King off by heart. Wong Yek Si decided to give the hand Wong Yung over to Kwok Jing.

Wong Yek Si did not want the Ol family to go home empty handed and offered to teach Ol Yeung Hak some kung fu. Ol Yeung Hak wanted to learn Wong Yek Si's mystical traps, but his intention was to stay at To Fai Do. Wong Yung then handed him a map so that Ol Yeung Hak could learn the mystical traps without staying on the island. Wong Yek Si had been studying medicine for years and felt that it was time to try and bring his wife back from the dead for the marriage. Meanwhile Ol Yeung Fung wanted to capture Kwok Jing so he could obtain Gau Yum Jun King and become the world's best fighter. Ol Yeung Fung chased Kwok Jing and Wong Yung from the To Fai garden into the secret room where Wong Yek Si was attempting to heal his wife. They broke his concentration by disturbing him. Wong Yek Si came out in a rage of anger and fought off Ol Yeung Fung who ran for his life.

Having lost all hope of healing his wife who was already dead, Wong Yek Si, prepared a ship so he could die by her side. He no longer wanted to live and carried his wife from the secret room and headed towards the boat. Hung Chut Kong and Chow Pak Tung spotted him. It was only then that they realized that his wife had died. Chow Pak Tung then revealed to Wong Yek Si that Kwok Jing had Gau Yum Jun Kim in his possession. Wong Yek Si became outraged because he swore to kill all those who had Gau Yum Jun King. He immediately turned around to kill Kwok Jing, but Chow Pak Tung stepped in the way and battled him one handed. He could not use the other hand because he had mysteriously learnt Gau Yum Jun King himself. With only one hand Chow Pak Tung was defeated and heavily injured.

Angry that all the trouble was caused by Gau Yum Jun King, Chow Pak Tung decided to destroy both copies that he had in his possession. Wong Yek Si then suggested that Kwok Jing, Hung Chut Kong and Chow Pak Tung all leave the island before he changes his mind. Wong Yung was forced to stay behind and would later stay behind of her own choice. Wong Yek Si revealed to Wong Yung that her mother had already died many years ago. They then bury her body as Wong Yek Si explained how she died. Many years ago Chow Pak Tung was instructed by his elder classmate, top kung fu expert, Wong Chung Yeung, to guard Gau Yum Jun King.

He visited To Fai Do to tell Wong Yek Si not to steal the manual from him. Wong Yek Si's wife was very clever and had a good memory and tricked chow Pak Tung into thinking that the manual he had was fake. In a rage Chow Pak Tung tore up one of the manuals and left. Wong Yek Si's wife would then write another copy for Wong Yek Si because she remembered every word in the manual. Soon his students Mu Chiu Fung and Chun Yin Fung stole the manual and left. Wong Yek Si's wife died after re-writing the manual for Wong Yek Si, and giving birth to Wong Yung. Chow Pak Tung returned after discovering that Hak Fung Seng Sat, had learnt Gau Yum Pak Kut Chow, from the manual. He demanded that Wong Yek Si handed it back to him. They have been dueling for 15 years because of that.

Wong Yek Si then revealed that the boat that Kwok Jing, Hung Chut Kong and Chow Pak Tung was travelling on had a hole in it. upon hearing this Wong Yung took a little boat in an attempt to rescue them. On the boat Kwok Jing uncovered that the boat was leaking. Luckily for them they drifted towards Ol Yeung Fung's boat, which passed by. Ol Yeung Fung decided to take them aboard realizing it was the perfect opportunity to take possession of Gau Yum Jun King. Ol Yeung Fung then had a bet with Chow Pak Tung, and won. Having lost Chow Pak Tung was then informed by Ol Yeung Fung to re-write the kung fu manual. Instead of writing out the kung fu manual, Chow Pak Tung, decided to jump overboard.

Ol Yeung Fung then managed to use tricks to poison Hung Chut Kong. He use the cure to blackmail Kwok Jing into writing out another copy of the Gau Yum Jun King. Kwok Jing did but was instructed by Hung Chut Kong to change a few words. Therefore Ol Yeung Fung obtained possession of a fake manual. Ol Yeung Fung then planned to escape from the boat with his son. They had planned to destroy the boat with explosives, killing everyone on board it. His planned was uncovered by Kwok Jing who was in the process of attempting to steal some food and wine from the kitchen for Hung Chut Kong. Kwok Jing and Hung Chut Kong then seized possession of the little boat and planned to escape with Ol Yeung Hak as their hostage. Hung Chut Kong then decided to save Ol Yeung Fung from the boat which was on fire from the explosives. Ol Yeung Fung was bitterly angry and battled with Hung Chut Kong, who was bitterly injured once more.

Kwok Jing rushed aboard to help Hung Chut Kong back to the little boat. As Hung Chut Kong and Ol Yeung Hak drifted away on the little boat. Kwok Jing and Ol Yeung Fung continued to fight each other on the boat. Hung Chut Kong and Ol Yeung Hak then drifted to a little island where they found Wong Yung. Injured, Hung Chut Kong, decides to make Wong Yung the new leader of Coy Bong. Wong Yung then thought of a plan to deal with the cunning of Yeung Hak, who become trapped under a large rock. During this time Kwok Jing and Ol Yeung Fung floated on the island. Ol Yeung Fung then forced Wong Yung and Kwok Jing to save his son from under the rocks by taking Hung Chut Kong as hostage. Wong Yung then came up with a method of rescuing Ol Yeung Hak, who suffered from two broken legs. After saving the life of Ol Yeung Hak, Hung Chut Kong, Wong Yung and Kwok Jing had secretly built a raft to escape from the island. Ol Yeung Fung stumbled across their plan and used the raft to escape with his son. They where then picked up by Yee Lan Hung Lit and Yeung Hong.

In the meantime Wong Yek Si, had left To Fai Do to search for Wong Yung. He then came across Chow Pak Tung, who ran away from him. After chasing Chow Pak Tung for many days and nights, Wong Yek Si was informed that his daughter had drowned in the sea. Upon hearing this Wong Yek Si became outraged, but continued to search without giving up hope. Later Hung Chut Kong, Kwok Jing and Wong Yung, returned to the mainland. They would be joined by Chow Pak Tung, who uncovered Yeung Hong's plans to ambush them. With Chow Pak Tung, protecting Hung Chut Kong, Kwok Jing and Wong Yung went in search of medicine that could heal Hung Chut Kong and restore his inner power. Unfortunately Ol Yeung Hak and Yeung Hong also went in search of this medicine to cure Ol Yeung Hak. They found it first and set a trap for Kwok Jing and Wong Yung who managed to escape.

Yeung Hong then made a request to be accepted as a student by Ol Yeung Fung. His request was refused by Ol Yeung Fung, who had a rule of only teaching his kung fu to one person. His plans having failed, Yeung Hong, went in search for Mok Dim Chi. He had missed her very much since the time she had saved his life. Meanwhile Mok Dim Chi would come across and save Mu Chiu Fung, after she saved a little kid. In return Mu Chiu Fung took Mok Dim Chi to the Gum palace in attempt to force Yee Lan Hung Lit to consent with her marriage to Yeung Hong. With the help of Ol Yeung Fung, Yee Lan Hung Lit, captured both Mu Chiu Fung and Mok Dim Chi. Yeung Hong arrived back at the palace in time to save Mo Dim Chi, by threatening to commit suicide. Mu Chiu Fung was taken away by Ol Yeung Fung, who wanted to question her about Gau Yum Jun King. She managed to escape while Ol Yeung Fung was puzzling over the manual that Kwok Jing had written him.

Having finally found Mok Dim Chi, Yeung Hong, planned to marry her. With the help of his master, Mu Chiu Fung, Yeung Hong would soon regain favor of Mok Dim Chi. Yee Lan Hung Lit would finally consent with the marriage after Yeung Hong's uncovered his plans to kill her, and attempted to leave the palace. It was the happiest day for Mok Dim Chi when Yeung Hong requested her hand for marriage. Mu Chiu Fung was there to oversee the marriage also. One day after marrying Mok Dim Chi, Yeung Hong, left to locate Ngowk Fei's war book for Yee Lan Hung Lit. Kwok Jing and Wong Yung lost the trail of Hung Chut Kong after failing to get him the medicine which could cure him. They went to the "Iron Palm Sect", to seek the help off Kau Chin Yan, who claims he knows where Hung Chut Kong is.

Kwok Jing and Wong Yung where nearly tricked into teaching Kau Chin Yan, a few moves of the 18 Dragon Palm, in return for the location of Hung Chut Kong. Wong Yung was too clever though, and snuck out with Kwok Jing to look around Kau Chin Yan's house. By doing so they uncovered that Kau Chin Yan's, kung fu, are just simple tricks. Yeung Hong was also staying at Kau Chin Yan's house. When he heard that Kwok Jing and Wong Yung were staying next door, he sought the help of Ol Yeung Fung, who wanted to capture Kwok Jing. As Wong Yung and Kwok Jing battled with Kau Chin Yan, Ol Yeung Fung and Yeung Hong arrived. Mok Dim Chi knew off Yeung Hong's plans and rushed to rescue Kwok Jing and Wong Yung, much too the disgust of Yeung Hong who knew it was her.

After a narrow escape from the hands of Ol Yeung Fung, Kwok Jing and Wong Yung ran into Chow Pak Tung who took them to see Hung Chut Kong. In the evening they stayed at an old house at Lau Ka Chin, and uncovered a little girl called Sua Ku, who was playing tricks on them earlier. Wong Yung also uncovered a secret room at the back of the old house. There were two skeletons in the room, and one had both legs broken. From this Wong Yung, worked out the skeleton belonged to, Cok Ling Fung, Wong Yek Si's third and most powerful student. She also figured out that the little girl, must have been Cok Ling Fung's daughter. Meanwhile Yeung Hong, Yee Lan Hung Lit, and with the help of Ol Yeung Fung, planned to invade the Sung palace and steal, Ngowk Fei's war book. In the evening, Hung Chut Kong, talked Kwok Jing and Wong Yung, into sneaking into the Sung palace and stealing food from the kitchen.

While at the palace, Chow Pak Tung, ran into Leung Chi Yung, Sai Dung Tin and his classmate. Chow Pak Tung then put on a masked and pretended to be a ghost and frightened the men. Royal palace guards then heard the noise and ran in to capture the men. Kwok Jing and Wong Yung heard the noise also and rushed to help Chow Pak Tung. The royal guards attacked then and Wong Yung and Kwok Jing were then forced to escape through the waterfall. Inside Ol Yeung Fung and Yeung Hong, were searching for Ngowk Fei's war book. Ol Yeung Fung found it, when Kwok Jing came it. Yeung Hong immediately battled with Kwok Jing, who was then injured by Ol Yeung Fung. Yeung Hong saw the perfect opportunity to kill Kwok Jing and threw a knife which struck him in the chest. Chow Pak Tung arrived in time to save Kwok Jing. They rushed back to the old house to figure out a method to heal Kwok Jing. Chow Pak Tung then thought of a method which he learnt from Gau Yum Jun King. He instructed Wong Yung to use her inner to heal Kwok Jing for seven straight days without separating, before leaving to find Hung Chut Kong. Wong Yung then took Kwok Jing into the secret room and began healing Kwok Jing.

Inside the secret room they saw, Yee Lan Hung Lit and Yeung Hong arrive at the house. The war book they found at the palace was fake. Ol Yeung Fung then requested to go back to the palace to look for the war book and left. Yee Lan Hung Lit and Yeung Hong elected to stay but left after being frighten by Chow Pak Tung and Sua Ku. Wong Yek Si arrived shortly afterwards and left after dealing with Sai Dung Tin, and his classmate. Ol Yeung Hak arrived at the house in the morning, and with the help of Sua Ku managed to locate the secret room. He immediately battled with Kwok Jing and Wong Yung, who were rescued by Mok Dim Chi who had been passing by. Ol Yeung Hak then proceeded to battle with Mok Dim Chi and pushed her pressure point. He was about to rape Mok Dim Chi, when Yeung Hong, arrived back at the house. Ol Yeung Hak then requested Yeung Hong to hand over Mok Dim Chi to him for the night. Upon hearing this Yeung Hong stabbed Ol Yeung Hak with a knife and killed him. Wong Yek Si later returned and discovered the body of Ol Yeung Hak lying on the floor.

Yeung Hong then took Mok Dim Chi by the hand and ran for his life, knowing that Ol Yeung Fung was somewhere around. In the evening they run into Chin Sun Chut Ji, led by Mar Yuk. Yeung Hong was then forced to follow them back to the old house at Lau Ka Chin. By the time they arrived back at the house, Ol Yeung Hak's, body had already been taken away. Later that night, Toa and Wah Jang would also arrive at the house. They were informed by Yeung Hong that Wong Yek Si had killed Kwok Jing. Upon hearing this Toa and Wah Jang left to seek Wong Yek Si, for revenge. Chin Sun Chut Ji also wanted to seek out Wong Yek Si to avenge Kwok Jing's death. Suddenly Chow Pak Tung, Ol Yeung Fung and Wong Yek Si passed by the house before taking off again. Mar Yuk attempted to chase them down but his foot speed was too slow.

In the morning Yeung Hong made an excuse and left the house with Mok Dim Chi. Upon leaving the house Yeung Hong, found Coy Bong's Jade Dog Hitting Stick in the bushes and immediately thought of another evil plan. Kau Chin Yan would then arrive at the house and tricked Chin Sun Chut Ji that Chow Pak Tung had been killed by Wong Yek Si. When Mu Chiu Fung arrived later in the evening, Chin Sun Chut Ji, immediately battled with her to avenge the death of Chow Pak Tung. Wong Yek Si and Ol Yeung Fung arrived in time to see the battle. Wong Yek Si then stepped in to battle Chin Sun, to help his student. Ol Yeung Fung then turned on Wong Yek Si, and help Chin Sun Chut Ji battle him. Mu Chiu Fung stepped in to block Ol Yeung Fung's strike and was killed. Wong Yek Si became outraged and killed Master Tam from Chin Sun Chut Ji. Ol Yeung Fung escaped after realizing that he had killed Mu Chiu Fung. Chin Sun Chut Ji also left to bury the body of Master Tam at Jong Wan Sun, but promised to avenge his death before leaving.

After burying Mu Chiu Fung, Wong Yek Si, wanted to kill Kong Lum Chut Kwai who happened to be passing through. Knowing that his six master's are no match for Wong Yek Si, Kwok Jing and Wong Yung revealed themselves to prevent the fight. Wong Yek Si then made half an apology to Ngor Jun Ngowk but refuse to admit that he was in the wrong. Wong Yung then showed her farther the secret room and the skeleton. Upon seeing the skeleton, Wong Yek Si, became a little depressed because he knew that if he did not break both of Cok Ling Fung's legs, he would still be alive. Wong Yek Si felt responsible for his student's death and decided to accept, Sua Ku, Cok Ling Fung's only child as a student. Wong Yek Si then instructed Wong Yung to head to Mong Chow to be named as Coy Bong's 18th leader. Wong Yung then realized that she had lost the Jade Hitting Stick, which was picked up by Yeung Hong.

Before they left for Mong Chow, Kwok Jing and Wong Yung saved Toa and Wah Jang from the clutches of Kau Chin Yan and Ol Yeung Fung. Back at the house Wong Yek Si became outraged once more upon hearing that Kwok Jing is to be Genghis Khan's future son in law. He proceeded to kill Kwok Jing but was prevented by Wong Yung. He then wanted Kwok Jing to kill Wah Jang to prove his love for Wong Yung. But Kwok Jing refused stating that he will always love Wong Yung and Wah Jang understands. Wong Yek Si, then prevented Kwok Jing from returning to Mongolia. Toa then told Kwok Jing that he if he stayed he would be neglecting his mother and was not a man of his word before leaving. Wong Yung remained by Kwok Jing's side as they headed to Mong Chow after saying goodbye to Kong Lum Chut Kwai. Wong Yek Si was less then pleased at Wong Yung's decision and as he headed back to To Fai Do with Sua Ku.
