Introduction

Ming (Andy Lau) was ordered by Sam (Eric Tsang) to join the police force. While inside the police force Ming would keep an eye out for any police activity that involves the gang's. When there is Ming would tip off the gangs so the police would not catch them in the act.

While in the police force, inspector Wong had the same idea. So he send in Yan (Tony Leung) as an undercover cop in the Triads.

Years went by. Both men are higher rank in their world. Yan living a life of a gangster now in Sam's group. Ming still playing a good cop. Putting up a front of trying to take down the Triads.

On a bust to take down Sam. They both realize that they are moles. Then they started to think which is one is on the inside. Then the cat and mouse chase begins.
