Plot
This romantic fantasy is the story of an extraordinary relationship that literally spans time. It begins when Sung, a young woman living in 1999 send a letter to the would be new owner of Il Mare (A house which is call The Sea) But somehow Unju, who lives two years in the past and is the orginal owner of Il Mare, receive the letter. The two continue a correspondence across the flow of time, because both are loney and gradually they fall in love. Now, the only obstacle remaining between the would-be couple is the problem of trying to meet face to face in a time where they're both in love.

Review
The logic of the story contains this important question, does the past change the future of these two parallel time universe? If the guy could read the girl's letter from the future, wouldn't that alter the life of the girl? That's the kind of logic that makes these kinds of movies very difficult to make it, so that people like me would enjoy it. Here we see the director and the person who wrote the script, do an amazing job trying to solve (or not face) that problem. The story is beatifully told about the girl, who is heartbroken when her boyfriend goes to the US to study and ultimately goes out with another woman. The guy is suffering from an estrange relationship with his father. The absolute ending of the movie, I didn't really get. But before that happened, the movie seemed to make sense and was very touching. This movie is another great romance movies that is similar to the HK Fly Me to Polaris. If you don't think of the logic of Il Mare, than this is a great melodrama romance movies that worth watching. --Dave Goodmen 02:19, 24 Apr 2005 (CEST)
