Hunting is a classic cop story, as well as an important TV series in which today's Asian leading actor, Andy Lau, took a lead role for the first time in his acting career. It is also the beginning of the collaboration between the legendary silver screen mother and son, Andy and Deanie Yip. The two later starred as mother and son again in a trilogy, and their excellent and moving performances won much applause from the audience.
