[edit] Summaries

Adam Cheng is sort of like a martial arts stuntsman and he's a good honest, filial man. He has two children, one son and a daughter. His son stays with him, while his daughter stayed with Adam's ex wife, who eloped with a policeman (he has a high rank).

Kenneth Tsang plays an ex-vietnam veteran, and he's sort of has psychotic problems. The story gets interesting when Kenneth Tsang murdered his relatives (the whole family including a small boy in his psychotic rage....I think it's quite gruesome the last recent time i watched....and he tried to bury them under the stove....) and place the blame on Adam Cheng, even though Adam wasn't there at the scene of the crime! How? Well thanks to the ex-rival interest policeman who hates Adam still. Kenneth Tsang went on to escape, and Adam Cheng went to jail....from here i haven't watch...but then I catched it again on tv.....

in 15-20? years, Kenneth Tsang went on to become a rich man, and Adam Cheng came out of jail but has a limp from breaking his leg 15-20 years ago when he tried to escape from prison because he heard his daughter was sick, their sons also grew up. What is the world come to? Bad guy gets rich, and good guy has a bad life? Anyhow, afterwards, Kenneth and the police officer guy tries to make life worse for Adam. And the major part from then is trying to find evidence to convict Kenneth Tsang of the murders he committed, and also give back Adam's innocent. Adam Cheng gains his innocence and Kenneth Tsang goes to jail. Adam Cheng and his son rebuild thier lives and eventually become successful. Cheng's daughter become a nun after her husband (Kenneth's son) commits suicide because he feels so guilty that his father framed Adam. Sadly, Kenneth did not suffer in jail that long because he died from lung cancer. But of course, not before he rubs his successful evasion from jail for twenty years in Adam's face.

Roger Kwok plays Adam Cheng's son when he's older. Gallen Lo plays Kenneth Tsang's son when he's older.
