  1. There is a motorbike going at 400 miles an hour, and some rambo manages to catch up to it via running and saves the day.
  2. There is 30 people surrounding one cop, the cop manages to shoot them all down firing more than 6 bullets when the gun can only hold 6.
  3. Someones about to tell who a murderer is, their cellphone rings and they forget about something that's so important, they end up dying and the series ends up going on for another 50 episdoes
  4. Some girl turns off her boys pager, he iss meant to get an important message, but doesn't because his pager is turned off. He ends up dying or soemthing bad happens.
  5. Someone is reading a book with a photo of someone they have a crush on, when they move they drop the book and the photo comes out, and everyone knows who they have a crush on
  6. Someone gets up and they drop their cup and break it. They forget about what they were supposed to do which was really important, and screw up the series which adds on another 6000 episodes.
  7. They pick up shattered glass, and they HAVE to cut themselves, no matter wat series it is, in the history of hong kong, they HAVE to cut themselves The man gets all worried and touches the finger.
  8. Someone falls down from a 5000 story building and survives.. Absolute bullcrap.
  9. Gets shot 200 times, still survives but is in "Critical" situation and shud be "paralysed" when they wake up... They end up fine and live happily ever after...
  10. The cops and robber encounters, they keep on missing each other and hitting walls etc. even when they're right in front of each other.
  11. Hero and heroine meets in the end of the last episode & not saying anything, just looking at each other and then the credits roll.
  12. Hero and heroine walks past each other or they are at the same place but unable to see each other.
  13. When a main character dies and then some how they have a twin that looks exactly the same and then they pair up with him or her.
  14. A person who is obiviously lying to the other person and the other person gullibly believes them repeatedly and cause their Suffering and same thing happens over and over again.
  15. In ancient series, lights out, curtains down, means hot steamy sex. The next morning they are fully dressed though.
  16. The boy and girl are near the beach or somewhere cold. The girl shivers and the guy gives the girl his jacket.
  17. the boy helps the girl with a bandaid or help her wipe a stain off her face. the girl falls madly in love with the boy...
  18. explosions...main character always manages to jump just as a bomb or whatever explodes - always walks away with minor cuts and scars what about the ears? wouldn't the loud "BANG" damage your hearing?
  19. Bad guy drives away in a Benz and the cop in the taxi somehow catches up to the Benz... funny thing is..the cop says drive faster and the taxi driver tells the cop his car isn't a race car!
  20. Everytime a couple are so close to getting together, another girl or events comes into play and they have to think about each other while going out with someone else
  21. Rain... when it comes it comes... like pouring not drizzle to pouring
  22. when a guy and girl are walking.. .the girl always trips... "aiya! ho tong or!"
  23. 2 people hate each other in the beginning of the series and they love each other at the end. You can always predict who pairs up with who.
  24. when people always want to follow someone's car, they always go inside a taxi and say "follow the car in front"
  25. When there is a chase in the alley, there are always trashes and sticks available to throw so the one being chased can get away.
  26. Girl slips/trips and the guy holds her right on time so the girl will like him ever since.
  27. When a guy waits for a girl (or vice-versa) outside, it always rains.
  28. When a guy and girl are about to get kiss, the phone rings, grandma comes into the room, or theres an event that happens which stops it. and then the girl or guy says "i shudn't be doing this" and goes away.
  29. A boy/girl has to leave and the other person is rushing to the airport on a taxi. When they reach the airport, they see the airplane fly above them.
  30. Shooting stars, hk couples(no matter ancient or modern) in tvb series are so lucky, everytime they are sitting by themselves they look up into the romantic night sky and what do they see? a shooting star, then they say "look at shootingstar!!, make a wish!!" (i in my entire 17 yrs of life has never send a shooting star, maybe i should look up into the nite sky more or maybe i jis don't have dat lucky, or maybe they only appear when ur wid someone special.)
  31. I hate it when the guy and girl hated each other at first but then ended up together in the end. TVB should come up with new things instead of repeating these craps.
  32. A rich person(main character) gets tricked into losing all their money. Than that person starts all the way from the beginning with the help of lots of friends. After that the main character ends up with lots of money and is up against the person who stole all his/her money. In the end the main character wins.
  33. If we put all the scenes together in this thread we we just wrote our own TVB series!!
  34. One of the main characters decide to suicide and they never do. They always move back at the last second or someone saves them.
  35. A guy impresses a girl by saying he'll wait somewhere and then saying "but geen but saan" (never meet, never leave)
  36. Someone gets into an accident, their love ones reach the hospital and sees the death bed where the sheets are covered over the head, and they start crying historically, then that someone comes out of nowhere and is not dead.
  37. Someone gets diagnose with life threatening sickness, he/she purposely distance themselves from love ones, but later finds out the doctor made a mistake and he/she has no sickness afterall.
  38. There is a loving couple with a child and either the father or mother dies. The one alive is stuck with the child and eventually finds another partner to marry, and they take care of the child together.
  39. there's a really important message to give to someone, he/she manage to talk to the person on the telephone but refuses to tell that person the information. Instead he/she wants to meet somewhere that night and ends up dying being the meeting.....sooooo TVB!! if they just tell them the info on the phone...we wouldn't have to go thru the next 20 episodes of NONSENSE!!
  40. In MOST TVB movies, if the character falls off some cleft and people can't find his/her body....he/she always comes back!!
  41. In every TVB series, someone has to be in a coma!! WTF!
  42. there are taxis evrywhre and its soo easy to flag down anywhre n anytime
  43. the person do not die immediately when he is shot or stabbed many times..intsead he still has so much strength to tok a whole lot of crap
  44. There is a loving couple with a child and either the father or mother dies. The one alive is stuck with the child and eventually finds another partner to marry, and they take care of the child together.
  45. The actor and actress just realised they both love each other and were at the street looking for each other for a hug. But they always missed by a second or were looking somewhere else eventho they are on the same street but opposite side. Or block by a billboard.....or on a escalator
  46. Memory lost for one of the main characters, creating another 30948503984 episodes for a sequel. The love story keeps dragging and dragging.
  47. In a love triangle, the third person willing to sacrifice her/himself to the person he/she loves and so then the main couple can't be together because they feel guilty to the third person
  48. The guy or girl is fixing a bandaid and the other person is looking at them and they already fall for each other. That is so old, please try another one.
  49. The female character trips, almost falls, but the male character holds her, they stare at each other for like 10 minutes and fall in love with each other.
  50. The female character drops something, the male character helps her pick it up, the female character gets it back from him, their hands touch, then they both stare at each other's HANDS for god knows how long...
  51. Common TVB ending: The whole cast gathers together, JUMPS, credits start rolling and the series calls it an end.
  52. Siblings dating each other's exes, or friends dating friend's exes. For example in Love Bond, Moses was with Kenix, but at the end Mose's brother Michael Tao ends up with Kenix and Kenix's sister Bernice ends up with Moses.
  53. Long hospital scenes. A patient is in a coma for like 4 years. One day his/her lover visits, holds the patient's hands, says something sweet, and the patient comes back to life.
  54. Good cops tend to dodge ALL bullets. Even if the villain is shooting the cop with a machine gun, the cop rolls around the floor, jumps around, and lives.
  55. A depressed crazy as wants to kill themselves by jumping off a building, some one tries to save them, but they always say "dont come near me or I'll jump!"
  56. When someone is in a coma, and a sign of them becoming concious again is the twitching of the fingers, right at the end of the episode!!
  57. Evil villian always have to die so painlessly for all the evil things they did.
  58. King or Queen always the last or never the one to find out that their trusty was evil. ( Where the legend begins . perish in the name of love . the king never knew who the evil bad guys were!!).
  59. Accusing the innconent person and having to watch the innocent be tortued for their "wrong doings"
  60. Boy woos girl as a sort of revenge/con job, and to get back some bad debt. He swore that he’s with her for revenge/con job, but ends up falling in love with her.
  61. Boy and girl hate each other because of a misunderstanding, but after they realize that the other is supposed to be a goody-two-shoe, they started “mutual appreciation�?.
  62. Two or more girls will fall in love with the same guy, or vice versa. The unlucky (interpreted “noble�?) ones will have to hide their love for that lucky S.O.B., until a confrontation reveals everything. The guy, of course, will be hiding behind an ajar door to listen intently.
  63. Everytime the villain tries to coax the victim into believing his/her crappy lies, the victim will turn his/her head down or look somewhere else or cry, the villain will turn towards the screen and show us his/her wicked smile. Never in the history of HK drama will the victim know that until the damage’s been done.
