Because of her good looks and cute image, she got extremely popular after her debut in Stephen Chow's movie Fight Back To School 2, but never really became famous. She took part of a fair amount of movies and tv-productions, but never really was able to shook off her "pretty face/terrible acting"-image. She got heavily promoted by Wong Jing, but he somehow gave up on her after she announced to be dating Paul Chung from the boyband Beyond. A relationship that is still lasting.
Her music CDs never were a success. In 2004 she even used her own savings to produce a new CD, as she said, singing was her biggest ambition. Nevertheless, over the years she never lost her good looks, and became sexier. And thanks to that, she is often asked as being the spokesperson for slimming companies, make-up, etc.
