[edit] Miscellaneous
- 2005 - His album U87 was named TIME Asia Magazine one of the "Five Asian Albums Worth Buying."
- 2004 - When Alan Tam named the "New Four Heavenly Kings" (Andy Hui, Leo Ku, Hacken Lee, Edmond Leung) Beyond responded by saying that they were the "Crab Kings." Beyond's Paul Wong also openly stated that he most admires Eason Chan and Hacken Lee.
- Eason lost a testicle during a concert where he fell off the stage in Taiwan.
- Eason is often compared to Jacky Cheung, Hong Kong's "God of Songs". They both lacked good looks but are widely accepted because of their great vocals. They are also labeled "good men" because they've never had negative rumors regarding other women in their lives other than their wives. (Jacky is also Eason's idol.)
