自�立志�爲消防員的駱天佑，與好��徒拔��大興一�投考消防訓練學校，於校內�識了英俊寡言的劉海��外剛內柔的沈碧瑤�“少爺兵�胡港基，彼此�爲好�。在教練的地��訓練下，�人排除�難，�功畢業，並分別加入��的消防局。

Somehow TVB has developped some interest in making sreies about certain professions in HK. In the past it was only Cops and lawyers, but now there are Burning Flame ¡� ¯P ¤õ ¶¯ ¤ßdoctors, customs,even coronors. This serie is about firemen. But like most of those professions-series, the jobs are only a coat-stands to hang the stories of the characters on. And like most of the series, the characters are the real interesting thing of the serie.

It's fun to watch the training they go through to become firemen. And the ending operation is in one word IMPRESSIVE!! But the character's development is much more interesting. But then again, I think this serie also has the most unique characters TVB has ever produced. I am referring to the Nam San Three Tigers, played by Wong Hei, Chin Kar Lok and Cheng King Gay. They are soooo funny!!!! Never has I seen such better friendship than theirs!

The rest of the (many) good actors in BF are also doing a great job, so I don't have much to say about them.

However I must put a few notes though. First Louis Koo Tin Lok. He is playing his trademark character as cool, handsome dude with a sad past again. However his character development in the end is really unexpected. A great job on his credit.

Wong Hei is once again hilarious, but his acting is flawless.

That's the same for Chin Kar Lok and Cheng Chung Kei (although they overdo it from time to time)

Lee San San however, although not as bad as in Untraceable Evidence 1, she is not doing very well in this serie either. In the beginning her acting is SOOOOO damn unnatural. She was more like a cartoon character than an actress. However, near the end her acting is somewhat better, but it's already too late. Luckily, she doesn't has much screen appearance.

I must make some special compliments on two actresses though. One is Chan Siu Har (Chan Choi Nam) as the wife of Chin Kar Lok. Her acting has dramaticly improved! She is unbelievable adorable and funny as her character Fung. Too bad she only appeared near the end of this serie and only has few appearance, but when she is on screen, she totally outplayes Chin Kar Lok!! I wish she had more screentime...

Second actress I must praise is the lover of Louis Koo Tin Lok's character. I don't know this actress' name, neither have I seen her before, but her performance is excellent and I hope to see more of her in the future!

Anyway, as you might understand by now. I like this serie very much. Even if it was only because of the great acting performance, but it has so much more. A great story and character development!

But like you're used of me. I always tell the negative things of a serie too. Well, there are some not exactly unnoticable negative things of this serie. First, I hated how TVB suddenly wrote a business & crimes-element in this serie. I mean the way many of the main characters suddenly got involved with some criminal activities in business matters. You can see this clearly by writing Louis's character out of the firemen corps and into his father's company, let him get involved with some corruption deals, etc. This sidetwist was completely overdone and unnecessarily. TVB should have stayed on the firemen-scenario.

Second, the ending seems a bit rushed to me. How the characters of Wong Hei and Kwan Wing Hor ended up and stuff... Suddenly jumped into time with a few years but without changing the looks of the characters... No, that wasn't realistic to me.

However, these are only a few things. Let's not make this the reason not to see this serie, because you'll be missing a great one. This serie is a must see.
